its ok to quote every once in a while... just dont make the hugest habit of it, like on hottub, in one thread there was a page where EVERYONE quoted somebody. Ahhhhh............ okay.
But the question would be then...
How many levels of "Quotation" can be done before the original post goes unreadable?

Plus the IRT was just because of board being too slow in beginning

It's ok to quote every now and then, especially if it's short and it's many posts behind or it's unclear what are you talking about or which post are you replying to. However, we should stick to IRT for speed matters; the faster we can make this board, the better for everyone.
Speed has improved since we started here, but it's still not as fast as the Hottub.org board was, so we have to keep using the speed recommendations.

It's faster than when we first got here like Wiseman said, but it hasn't ever been really fast.

Yes. Everybody, please keep your sigs short! The faster we can get the board, the better, and it's never fast enough. Please do us and yourself a favor by keeping your sig short (*). Thank you.

(*): Nice short is 1-2 lines
